Even though Fall officially arrives tomorrow, I have been anticipating it’s arrival for quite some time. And despite the fact that it is still quite warm (100º weather go away! ?), I am ready to break out my fall gear! Every season I try to add a few quality staples that work with what I already have in my closet and can create countless new outfits. See below to see what images and articles are influencing my fall style:
What looks are you using to gather your inspiration for fall? Let me know below!
It was my birthday last Friday and my favorite way to celebrate is doing pretty much anything, as long as I’m with my family and friends. For as long as I can remember, my father has collected wine and has educated himself (and all those around him ) on the complexities that go into making a good bottle of wine. So that means that wine tasting is one of our fav ways to spend time as a family, bringing along lots of different people with us on our adventures. We like going to wineries we know and love, but also trying out new ones as well. On Saturday we tried out someplace new, Burrell School Vineyards & Winery. The tasting was really good, but the view was incredible!!
For me, wine tasting isn’t just about dressing up and drinking wine, its about the whole experience. Its the atmosphere. Its about all the hard work that a wine maker has put into making an excellent vintage. But most importantly, it’s about the people you share it with. I love that my dad has taught me to appreciate those things and that this is something that we enjoy doing together, both with family and friends.
Can you believe that it is September already?! Even though this year has flown by, I am so excited because fall will be here soon! I LOVE fall; I love the clothes, I love the holidays, I love the food, and I love the weather. There isn’t a whole lot I don’t love about it . Even though summer still has a couple weeks left, I get so excited for the weather change that I usually start thinking about how I’m going to update my wardrobe for fall now. I like to commit to a few new accent pieces that are both versatile and can be used to update some older items in my closet. The below boots and purse are both great options. This time of year I start wearing boots again and I love pairing them with a dress or a skirt. Because the weather hasn’t completely cooled off yet, this is the perfect combo.
As evidenced in this post, oxblood is my FAVORITE fall accent color. I love it for shoes, purses, lipstick — the list is really endless! What is one of your favorite accent colors for fall? Let me know!
